I love it when parents make it a priority to get family photos — no matter their children's age or location!
For this extended family session, we were able to meet at a beautiful new park in Prairie Village, but it might have taken an act of Congress to get all the children and grandchildren in one place. Ok, maybe I'm exaggerating a bit. But this was one of the few days that worked. It helps that they were celebrating birthdays, and even though our session fell on my birthday, I didn't mind one bit, knowing:
A) I would be celebrating with my family on Sunday,
B) This is one of the few times that worked for this family, and
C) I didn't have to come home and make dinner, because I was getting treated to Joe's Kansas City.
I love it when a plan comes together!
